Expressions of Interest to join the WTC Board of Directors

WTC elects new board directors at the AGM each November. We give preference to individuals who have volunteered with WTC for at least 3 months, which allows you time to get to know the organization, our values, the way we work and programs. If you are interested in joining the board, please sign up as a member and complete the following EOI.

Responsibilities of Directors

Attend 6-8 board meetings per year, on a Monday evening
Participate in the annual strategic planning process
Participate in fundraising for the organization
Serve as a representative of WTC and positively advocate for the organization in the community
Volunteer for and willingly accept assignments as appropriate and complete them thoroughly and on time
Stay informed about organizational matters, prepare for meetings and review and comment on minutes and reports
Build a good working relationship with all board members that contribute to consensus
Commit to the board for a minimum of two years, contributing 2-3 hours a week, or 10-12 hours a month.
